AdvancedTCA low-cost chassis capable of supporting Schroff's high-performance applications.
Schroff's proven technology is highly regarded for its wide-ranging and high computing power, as well as excellent data transfer speeds, which are characteristic of off-the-shelf components. However, for applications that do not require high-end features such as hot-swapping and redundancy, this can lead to increased costs, which are not necessarily what users need. To respond to these demands for lower prices, significant cost reductions have been achieved with the Eco-Module by removing unnecessary ATCA features. The Eco-Module offers a low price comparable to general-purpose platforms while maintaining traditional high added value, providing sufficient flexibility to meet various requirements.

Features - The 15U14 slot chassis optimizes cooling airflow with front intake and rear exhaust. - Supports on-blade shelf management with a 15-slot configuration that includes a shelf manager. - Achieves cooling capacity and power supply (250 or 450 W/slot). - The fan tray (with 8 built-in fans) can be controlled by the shelf manager or operate autonomously using intake temperature sensors (cost-effective), with an optional exhaust temperature sensor available. - The serial console I/F for the shelf manager is equipped on the fan tray. - The 40G backplane supports Dual-Star and Dual-Dual-Star topologies. - The compatible shelf manager uses Bussed IPMB. - The shelf FRU data SEEPROM is directly implemented on the backplane (non-removable). - An optional EMC shield is available to enhance performance up to 20GHz.
