The new electric surfboard uses ODU's lamella technology in its contacts. ODU LAMTAC contacts are used as the interface connecting the power supply, speed controller, and motor. This contact consists of a machined carrier and lamellae that are die-cut in a striped pattern, with each stripe creating multiple connection points. A new high-current module has been added to the ODU-MAC.
Today, in the field of e-mobility and its charging technologies, as well as in the testing and measurement sector, high current applications have become more important than ever. Therefore, ODU has added a new high current module to the ODU-MAC Blue-Line lineup. This module has a contact diameter of 12 mm and can be used for load currents up to 225 A and operating voltages up to 1000 volts (pollution degree 3). The contacts are composed of two parts that are combined by screw fastening, making it easy to replace the contacts from the mating side. We offer crimp types of 25, 35, and 50 mm².
