Ohmori Chrome CO., LTD Official site

Chrome plating treatment for molds. If you are struggling with release properties, wear resistance, or corrosion resistance!

We can accommodate from thin flash plating of about 5μm to thicker plating of over 1mm!

Our company is equipped with one of the largest industrial chrome plating tanks in Eastern Japan, and we accommodate chrome plating for various sizes of molds, regardless of their special shapes or dimensions. We can handle plating thicknesses ranging from approximately 5μm for thin "flash plating" to over 1mm for "thick plating." Additionally, we can perform partial re-plating for minor scratches or localized wear due to product use. Furthermore, for complex mold shapes, we can apply electroless nickel plating to enhance corrosion resistance and then overlay industrial chrome plating, allowing us to achieve the traditionally hard surface with our "two-layer plating" option. 【Features】 ■ One of the largest industrial chrome plating facilities in Eastern Japan ■ Accommodates chrome plating for various sizes of molds, regardless of special shapes (up to a maximum width of 5000mm, maximum depth of 6000mm, maximum length of 5000mm, and maximum weight of 30 tons) ■ Partial plating and two-layer plating are also available ■ Buff polishing after plating is also available (requests for buffing only are accepted) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

basic information

■Benefits of Industrial Chrome Plating for Molds - Improved Release Properties - It becomes easier for products to release from the mold, reducing not only production time losses but also preventing damage to molded parts and the mold itself. This also leads to cost reductions in release agents. - Enhanced Corrosion Resistance - By covering the mold product parts with an industrial chrome plating film, the mold product parts become less prone to oxidation, preventing corrosion due to rust. It is also suitable for maintenance. - Cost Reduction through Replating - By partially replating areas that have peeled off or stripping and replating the overall damaged plating, it leads to reductions in maintenance time and costs for the molds. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
