This variable port valve is a rotary type control valve that adjusts the flow rate by rotating the valve shaft. Additionally, it has a structure that allows the sleeve, which is combined with the valve shaft, to be moved, easily changing the opening area of the port through which the fluid passes. The maximum flow rate is determined by the movement of the sleeve, and the optimal flow rate is adjusted by the rotation of the valve shaft. Generally, when performing fluid control, the performance of the control valve affects the controllability, leading to the following conventional issues: - The pressure before and after the control valve differs between actual operating conditions and design conditions. - The Cv value of the control valve is determined for each diameter, and it can only be selected in stages, making it difficult to choose the optimal Cv value. - The range of flow rates used may exceed the valve's rangeability.
