TZM alloy thermometer protection tube
Introducing a protective tube for thermometers made of molybdenum alloy, which has excellent heat resistance at 1400℃ and outstanding corrosion resistance and workability.
It has become possible to manufacture thermometer protection tubes made of TZM alloy (titanium-zirconium-molybdenum alloy) used in the aerospace industry and in reactors. This increases the options available for high-temperature corrosive environments, where ceramic-based thermometer protection tubes were previously the main choice. It also accommodates machining processes such as threading that could not be achieved with ceramic-based protection tubes.
