Introduction of the processing company: Daiwa Plastic Co., Ltd.
Molding by adhering resin to the mold! Compatible with bosses, ribs, inserts, and more.
We would like to introduce the vacuum forming, pressure forming, and RIM forming processes of "Daiwa Plastic Co., Ltd." which we have commissioned for processing. Vacuum forming uses sheets of resin (plastic) that have been pre-extruded as the forming material. The heated and plasticized resin is placed on top of a mold, and by creating a vacuum between the resin and the mold, the resin is sucked onto the mold to form the shape. Pressure forming is a method that uses compressed air to pressurize the resin (plastic) and replicate the shape of the mold. This allows the material to adhere closely to the mold under high pressure, enabling the formation of sharper shapes. RIM forming is a method where two components of urethane resin, A and B, are mixed and injected into a mold, where they react and cure. [Features] <Vacuum Forming> - Sheets of pre-extruded resin (plastic) are used as the forming material. - The resin is formed by creating a vacuum between the resin and the mold, allowing the resin to be sucked onto the mold. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
basic information
【Other Features】 <Air Pressure Molding> ■ A molding method that uses compressed air to pressurize resin (plastic) and replicate the shape of the mold. ■ Able to tightly adhere the material to the mold at high pressure, allowing for sharper shapes to be molded. <RIM Molding> ■ Strong against low-temperature impact, with excellent toughness and chemical resistance. ■ Suitable for medium to small production runs. ■ Compatible with bosses, ribs, and inserts. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
