It has been 20 years since the Personal Information Protection Act was enacted. Yet, the number of companies suffering from personal information leaks continues to increase rather than decrease. There is a mountain of tasks to be done: creating rules for personal information protection and information security, educating employees, ensuring proper implementation on-site, continuously improving, conducting audits once a year, having the president review the measures, and strengthening security measures to respond to the latest threats... Additionally, it is essential to stay updated on the latest trends in P Mark certification. In light of recent trends, there are indeed things that should be done immediately. Furthermore, we have identified ways to carry them out more efficiently than before. Therefore, this time, we will cover: ● (First half) The latest trends in P Mark certification and what should be done before the next audit ● (Second half) Recent trends in personal information leak incidents and unauthorized access, along with the information security measures that should be addressed now We hope to not only provide the latest information from the instructor on these two themes but also facilitate an exchange of opinions among the P Mark representatives present.
