High-quality indium phosphide-based quantum dots
For research and educational purposes, indium phosphide-based quantum dots are a high-quality, environmentally friendly product that replaces cadmium selenide-based quantum dots without containing heavy metals. Cadmium selenide-based quantum dots, which are the flagship product for luminescent emission, are well known for their high toxicity and environmental harm. However, cadmium selenide-based quantum dots are still widely used due to the lack of alternative materials. NN-Labs has developed a product line of quantum dots based on indium phosphide (InP). This product is high-performance while avoiding the use of cadmium, a level A hazardous substance, and can withstand commercial applications with zero cadmium usage.
