We will produce pickup products to be installed on semiconductor chip transfer devices.

No more scratches on the chip, a technology to reliably transfer the chip.

The transfer of semiconductors requires precise pickup tools. Interchangeable rubber collets are pickup tools that can accommodate a wide variety of applications and contribute to preventing damage to devices and enhancing suction power. Additionally, resin collets can process complex shapes and are compatible with three-dimensional mounted devices. Furthermore, carbide or metal die collets are used in scenarios where strength, temperature, and wear resistance are required. These collets can be selected to match collet holders and have become indispensable tools for semiconductor transfer.

basic information

Exchangeable rubber collet Used in conjunction with compatible holders Available in NBR (nitrile rubber), FKM (fluoro rubber), and silicone rubber materials A wide variety of extremely small sizes available, with design options possible Resin collet A collet that combines a resin tip and a shank (metal part) Compatible with three-dimensional mounted devices It is possible to reuse the metal shank and provide a service to replace only the resin tip with a new one Carbide die collet Adopted in scenes requiring strength, temperature resistance, and wear resistance Designs combining a SUS body and a carbide tip are also possible Designed to securely hold chips in the pockets of the die collet Corner reliefs to prevent chipping of the chip edges can also be processed Other material collets Ceramic materials and porous materials (porous materials) are also available Conducting R&D activities to manufacture collets using cutting-edge processing methods and materials Collet holder When using our rubber collets, no new manufacturing is required as they are compatible with other manufacturers' products General press-fit holders, pin-type holders, and magnetic holders can be selected to match the rubber collet

Applications/Examples of results

- Reducing the carry-out defects of semiconductor chips in the diamond process. - Reducing the occurrence of chip carry-out errors at Chuo Electronic Industries Co., Ltd. - The lineup of collets at Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. has become abundant, making custom collet holders attractive. - At Koyo Precision Co., Ltd., they were picking chips one by one from wafers with tweezers, so they were exploring solutions aimed at improving defects, increasing efficiency, and enhancing quality. The mechanization by Orte yielded the expected results.
