Pyrex Tempax
Introducing Pyrex and Tempax from Osaka Glass Industry Co., Ltd.
Pyrex is borosilicate glass made by Corning Inc. in the United States. It has excellent corrosion resistance, extremely low alkali content, a small linear expansion coefficient, and outstanding thermal shock resistance. Tempax is borosilicate glass made by Schott AG in Germany. It has a small average thermal expansion coefficient and demonstrates excellent heat resistance and thermal shock resistance in various fields. The microfloat process results in a flat and smooth surface finish, combining high light transmittance with excellent optical quality and minimal optical distortion. 【Features】 ■ Pyrex ○ Borosilicate glass made by Corning Inc. in the United States ○ Excellent corrosion resistance with extremely low alkali content ○ Small linear expansion coefficient of 32.5X10⁻⁷/cm/cm/℃ (0-300℃) ○ Outstanding thermal shock resistance ■ Tempax ○ Borosilicate glass made by Schott AG in Germany ○ Small average thermal expansion coefficient of 32.5×10⁻⁷/cm/cm/℃ (0-300℃) ○ Demonstrates excellent heat resistance and thermal shock resistance in various fields ○ Excellent optical quality with high light transmittance and minimal optical distortion *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
