[Case Study] Air Transport System (Collection of Trimmed Paper Pieces from Bookbinding)
We will introduce a case study that successfully achieved stable 24-hour operation of the factory!
The separator had a predetermined airflow capacity based on its size, but adjustments were needed at the limit of the acceptable airflow, leading to the issue of "bookbinding cut paper pieces not falling smoothly from the lower hopper." Therefore, we conducted a site inspection to confirm the type and quantity of collected materials and the falling condition of the bookbinding cut paper pieces. By changing the routing of the air intake duct piping, we altered the direction of the airflow entering the separator. As a result, stable air transport and recovery of the bookbinding cut paper pieces were achieved, allowing for stable 24-hour operations at the factory.
