The "Premium Shell Bearing" is an advanced shell-type needle roller bearing that pursues specifications for all components and meets the needs for long service life. It features a special heat treatment (special carburizing and nitriding treatment) with a proven track record in extending service life as standard, and it alleviates stress concentration (edge loading) at the ends of the rollers under heavy load conditions through crowning processing. The internal hardness is improved by carburizing and quenching chromium-molybdenum steel, allowing for use under static heavy load conditions with a safety factor of S0 ≥ 2, while maintaining a safety factor of S0 ≥ 3.
