This method involves carefully selecting shot conditions based on the material, heat treatment, hardness of the product, as well as the usage environment and its countermeasures, and processing under appropriate conditions with the main objectives of improving fatigue strength and enhancing sliding properties. Compared to conventional shot peening, by reducing the media size to several micrometers to several millimeters, the injection speed can exceed 200 m/sec, allowing for tremendous injection energy even with the same amount of air (processing pressure).
