[Case Study] Introduction of tapping processing using horizontal machining!! - Before Improvement For taps with short protrusions, it was difficult to aim for a pinpoint from the upper side of the tool's groove due to water splashing on the arbor or workpiece. - After Improvement By using elbows and conversion joints to avoid interference with the ATC and tool temporary storage, and by allowing for flexible bending, we were able to hit the target area precisely. Successfully cooled the tool and workpiece at pinpoint locations. This led to improved finishing of the workpiece and extended tool life.
