AcroPrep filter plates for pre-filtration of multiple samples
Simultaneous pre-filtration of multiple samples of water-soluble or organic solvent samples!
Cytiva's filter plates can perform pre-filtration of the majority of samples simultaneously using centrifugation or suction manifolds. For precise filtration of common aqueous solutions, we recommend the use of Supor (PES) membranes. Supor has high flow characteristics and is an excellent membrane material that meets the requirements for biological, pharmaceutical research, and sterilizing filtration. It also has low protein binding and broad chemical compatibility. Supor membranes are available in various pore sizes depending on the purpose of sample pre-treatment. ■ 0.1 μm - Reduction of mycoplasma ■ 0.2 μm - Sterilizing filtration ■ 0.45 μm - Clarification, filtration of large viruses ■ 0.8 - 5 μm - Removal of large particles, pre-filtration For the clarification of cells or lysates, filter plates equipped with pre-filters are recommended. By incorporating a pre-filter, clogging of the main filter is less likely to occur.
