Nanosep centrifugal filtration device for ultrafiltration.
Not only proteins and nucleic acids, but also has a proven track record in the purification of viruses and extracellular vesicles!
NanoSep is a centrifugal device for ultrafiltration that incorporates a membrane (Omega membrane) in a 1.5 mL tube size. It is suitable for sample volumes of 50 - 500 µL and is effective for the purification and desalting of small-scale proteins and nucleic acids. For example, it can be used for sample preparation and SDS removal in protein or peptide analysis using LC/MS. Additionally, recent studies have utilized NanoSep with a 300K MWCO (molecular weight cut-off) for the purification of SARS-CoV-2 virus present in human nasopharyngeal swabs. - Rapid sample processing time - Low protein adsorption Omega (modified PES) membrane - Wide range of molecular weight cut-offs - Leak prevention of concentrated solutions into the receiver using ultrasonic sealing technology
