Ultra-high concentration compatible remote particle counter 5000 series
Supports environments from clean rooms to ultra-high concentration particle environments! Up to three calibrated spare sensors can be prepared. Compact remote type.
The "5000-LF Series (Old Model)" is a particle counter designed for ultra-high concentration applications. *Model numbers have been changed: 5301-LF → 5300, 5501LF → 5500 (non-pump type); 5301P-LF → 5300P, 5501P-LF → 5500P (pump type). It can be installed on walls or columns, used on a tabletop, operated directly from the unit, or remotely monitored and controlled from a computer. The particle size classification is 6 channels, user-configurable. Regardless of what anyone says, it supports ultra-high concentrations (2,500 particles/cc). It is possible to prepare up to 3 calibrated spare sensors. Although the sensor structure is resistant to dirt, it can still get dirty, so having spare sensors that can be replaced on-site provides peace of mind. **Features:** - Flow rate: 1.2 L/min. - Ultra-high concentration support (from clean rooms to ultra-high particle environments) - Calibrated spare sensor system (up to 3 sensors per counter) factory option - Alarm external output (open collector) factory option - Maximum measurable concentration: approximately 70,800,000 particles/CF (2,500 particles/cc) *For more details, please refer to the documentation. basic information
We experimentally confirmed that the conventional series Particle Plus has a concentration of 30,000,000 particles/cf = 1,060 particles/cc (as presented at the 2022 AAC). By comparing it with SMPS and conducting experiments using an online dilution device (which also serves as a flow system cleanup device) with concentrations over 10 times higher, such as incense smoke (12.3 times according to Professor Otani's JACA presentation), we have verified its capability to handle high-concentration environments. The LF series has achieved an even higher maximum measurable concentration range of 2,500 particles/cc (without dilution). When further diluted by 10 times, it corresponds to 710,000,000 particles/cf (approximately 25,088,000,000 particles/m³ or 25,000 particles/cc). It can be used without hesitation not only in clean rooms but also in general environments and in dirty environments with high dust generation. For example, the spraying situation of aerosol indoors [generation (start of spraying) ➔ rising situation ➔ indoor diffusion situation ➔ saturation situation ➔ and the decline during cleanup ➔ confirmation of clean level recovery] can be tracked numerically and graphically in terms of particle count and particle size distribution. It is optimal for exposure monitoring. Additionally, if the sensor becomes dirty, a calibrated spare sensor can be prepared and replaced on-site.
