Fiber Probe Spectrophotometer "Rainbow"
It is possible to collect spectral data in the range of 200-720nm at intervals of at least 2 seconds!
By placing a probe in test liquids such as vessels and bioreactors, UV monitoring can be performed at intervals as short as 2 seconds without sampling. The included AuPRO software maximizes the functionality of UV monitoring with features such as secondary differential analysis and the Zero Intercept Method (which minimizes the impact of specific components on the results of other components), enabling many tests that were not possible before. Rainbow can be used not only with dissolution testers (some models are not compatible) but also with a dedicated small-volume dissolution tester: the Mini-Bath. Additionally, it can be used in combination with other Pion products such as µFLUX and Macro FLUX for dissolution + membrane permeation testing.

* By replacing the dedicated probe tips, it is possible to measure a wide range of concentrations. There are five types of probe tips available with different optical path lengths. By switching to these probe tips, measurements can be made in the range of 0.08µg/mL to 2mg/mL. * AuPRO software enables advanced analysis. Rainbow operates by connecting to a PC with AuPRO software installed. AuPRO supports various analyses and minimizes manual calculations and tasks. The main features are as follows: absorbance correction (mathematical filter), baseline correction method, second derivative method, ZERO Intercept Method.
