On May 24th (Friday), we were able to hold the completion ceremony for the second factory as scheduled. The Shinto ritual was conducted by the esteemed head priest of the Izanagi Shrine, as usual. At the Izanagi Shrine, the character for "completion" used is "shunkō" instead of "shunkō." This reflects the sentiment that the work was accomplished through excellent efforts, and it embodies the hope that this will lead to future successes. The design of the second factory was entrusted to Mr. Okuda (36 years old) from OHArchitecture, and the construction was entrusted to Taiyo Kogyo. Mr. Okuda was instrumental as the chief representative of our company at the Sapoz Design Office during the construction of the Awaji headquarters four years ago. Since Sapoz Design Office is based in Hiroshima, he frequently traveled to our company from a distance and successfully coordinated that major project. After that, Mr. Okuda established the design firm OHArchitecture in Kyoto with two friends from university.
