This is a stirring device that achieves sharp particle size distribution and nanoparticle production through a unique stirring principle called the thin film rotation method developed by Primix!
Filmix® is a mixer (dispersion stirring device) that enables sharp particle size distribution and micronization to nanometer sizes, which was difficult to achieve with conventional high-speed stirrers. Emulsification and dispersion in seconds significantly shorten research and development time. The 56-L model can operate in both batch and continuous modes on a tabletop. Once the conditions are established in batch mode, continuous experiments can be conducted by setting up a line. Spherical agglomerated particles stirred with Filmix(R) When amorphous particles are stirred with Filmix(R), they can be aligned into a spherical shape. This stabilizes the interfacial state of the particles and achieves dispersion stability effects.

■Selection of Stirring Machines and Scale-Up <Lecture Overview> The purpose of stirring operations encompasses a wide range of activities, including mixing, dispersion, mass transfer, reactions, and thermal effects. The stirring machines used for these operations are employed in various processes from research and development to production across fields such as chemistry, food, pharmaceuticals, as well as environment, biotechnology, and energy. At our Emulsification and Dispersion Technology Research Institute, a pioneer in high-speed stirring machines, we provide consulting on machine selection and scale-up through our Primixology Challenge, which offers optimal stirring operations based on theory using our products. This lecture will introduce know-how and case studies centered on the theory of selecting stirring machines and scale-up in high-speed stirring machines, drawing from experiences in the Primixology Challenge.
