**"For River and Lake Dredging"** Putzmeister has developed a new method for transporting sludge and sediment accumulated in dams and rivers. Many sites have demonstrated groundbreaking technology and excellent economic efficiency. The advantages of pump transport, which is both economical and considers environmental issues, are due to the reliability of the pumps as well as improvements in mixing devices, screens, high-pressure pipes, and more. Putzmeister transports solids with a concentration of 68% at a processing capacity of 150 m³/h, a discharge pressure of 10 MPa, and a pumping distance of over 2000 m. Sludge and sediment can be pumped not only from ground-mounted systems but also by submerging the pump directly into the sludge. It can be transported at high concentrations without the need for dilution with water.
