REX-USB61 is a protocol emulator for SPI/I2C realized with a USB device and a Windows application. It allows for the operation verification and evaluation of various SPI and I2C devices. A debugging environment for embedded SPI/I2C devices can be constructed in a Windows environment. In SPI mode, it supports master mode with a maximum frequency of 12MHz and is equipped with 4 DigitalOut ports for slave selection. In I2C mode, it supports both master and slave modes, with frequencies of 100KHz, 400KHz, and 1KHz (SCL). *Note: However, the I2C slave mode does not support 10-bit addressing. *Clock stretching is not supported. It supports power supply to connected devices (3.3V or 5V). Attached Application A utility is included that allows for easy sending of commands to the device and receiving results. Supports scripting languages. You can input control commands in a proprietary high-level language and verify the behavior of the target device. An API library and sample programs, along with source code for Visual C++/Visual C#/Visual Basic, are included.
