The REX-USB61mk2 is a high-speed, multifunctional SPI/I2C protocol emulator set that works with USB devices and Windows applications. It allows for the operation verification and evaluation of various devices that comply with SPI and I2C specifications. A debugging environment for embedded devices can be built on Windows. It achieves approximately six times faster communication than the previous model (REX-USB61) (compared to our own standards, when using SPI). SPI supports both master mode and slave mode. The bus width supports Single/Dual/Quad. The supported frequency ranges from 762 MHz to 50 MHz. Clock modes (Mode 0 to 3) can be selected. It has one Slave Select port (with the option for positive or negative logic). The I2C mode supports both master mode and slave mode. It supports communication modes including Standard, Fast, Fast-mode Plus, High-Speed, and Ultra-fast modes. The supported frequency ranges from 762 Hz to 5 MHz. Supports emulation functions for memory devices (EEPROM, FlashROM). It is possible to return NACK at a set address and to generate clock stretching at arbitrary times. Power supply to connected devices (3.3V, 5V) is possible. Additionally, by applying voltage to the power terminals from an external source, the interface level can be supported from 1.8V to 5V. A utility is included that allows for easy sending of commands to the device and receiving results. Supports COM port mode. Device parameters can be checked using an I2C register access tool. Supports scripting language. It is possible to input control commands in a proprietary high-level language and verify the behavior of the target device.
