Applications/Examples of results
RS-232C has been established by the U.S. EIA since 1969, making it about 55 years old now. Therefore, it does not support Plug and Play, which is now taken for granted, and it is recommended not to be included in Windows PCs, making it a specification that is not likely to expand significantly in the future. However, due to its simplicity and ease of use, it is still incorporated into many industrial devices and automatic control fields. In applications requiring control application development, many sample source codes are publicly available, and it continues to be used by individuals and corporations alike. Recently, our company has a rich lineup of standard USB conversion, LAN conversion, and wireless conversion products. For the USB conversion type, it supports USB-C for connection with tablets. Although it is intended for specific applications, we offer power supply models that assign USB bus power to the serial side connector, distinguishing our products from those of other companies. By enabling wireless conversion, you can control serial devices using Android and iOS devices, allowing you to build systems that transcend generations. We also accept various requests for custom and special systems.
Detailed information
-
Wi-Fi RS-232C Conversion Adapter "REX-WF60" A unit that connects to serial devices and allows access via Wi-Fi. Supports Adhoc mode (1-to-1), where this product is recognized as an access point. Supports INF mode (1-to-N), where this product connects to an access point and terminals connect through the access point.

SubGiga RS-232C Conversion Adapter "RS-SG61" SubGiga RS-232C Conversion Adapter "RS-SG61mk2" The lineup includes the "RS-SG61" for 1-to-1 connections and the "RS-SG61mk2" for 1-to-N connections. For Windows only. Connect a USB dongle to a Windows PC to recognize the device adapter that connects to the serial device. Serial communication is uniquely developed based on the wireless communication module used in Wi-Sun. It is capable of communication over a distance of approximately 200 meters outdoors. The RS-SG61mk2 supports multiple device adapters, increasing the number of COM ports according to the number of recognized device adapters. Management of connected devices is performed using a dedicated connection tool.

PoE RS-232c conversion unit. The power supply for the conversion unit is received from PoE. It also has a DC jack, allowing power supply from an AC adapter (sold separately). Serial devices connected can be controlled as TCP/IP devices. A system configuration that is independent of the OS is possible. When controlling from a Windows environment, a dedicated application that recognizes it as a COM port is provided. It can also be used from applications for COM ports. Supports "peer mode" for communication between two RS-ET62 units. Serial cables can be replaced with LAN devices (cables, hubs, etc.) for use. Serial communication over routers is also possible.
-
RS-BT62 (SPP mode) / RS-BT62HID (HID mode) Bluetooth RS-232C conversion unit A conversion unit that connects to serial devices. It allows control of serial devices using Bluetooth wireless technology. The RS-BT62 controls using standard serial communication. The RS-BT62HID inputs data output from serial devices to terminals in HID mode (keyboard input format). These products only differ in their factory settings, and you can use both modes by purchasing either product and simply adjusting the DIP switch and application settings.
