Raspberry Pi I2C Isolated Serial Board
Isolated RS-232C, 485/422A serial expansion board connected to the GPIO 40Pin (I2C) of Raspberry Pi.
RPi-GP60 is an isolated serial board that attaches to the Raspberry Pi GPIO 40-pin connector. The RPi-GP60 is an isolated serial expansion board that connects to the GPIO 40-pin (I2C) of the Raspberry Pi. This product features input and output ports capable of serial communication, including RS-485/422, which is particularly well-regarded in industrial applications, and RS-232, which is widely used in various environments. By connecting this product to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO (I2C), it enables the control of devices (such as PCs, PLCs, and microcontroller boards) in factory automation settings, as well as measurements using various measuring instruments. It supports both analog and digital input and output.
basic information
■Insulated RS-232C and 485/422A serial expansion board to be mounted on the Raspberry Pi GPIO40Pin connector ■Equipped with two ports of RS-232 or RS-485/422 on a HAT board size (65mm x 56.5mm) ■Includes one DB9 and one 10-pin box header each. *For 10Pin Box header → D-Sub9Pin conversion cable included ■Each port can be configured for RS-232 or RS-485/422 (half-duplex/full-duplex) ■Supports automatic switching for half-duplex transmission and reception ■Uses SC16IS752 as the controller for I2C-serial 2 ports ■The isolation of this product employs a "digital isolator" that electrically separates the digital input/output side and the GPIO40PIN. It has the advantage of low power consumption (low heat generation) and a small implementation area, achieving faster operation than the typical phototransistor method ■FIFO transmission and reception of 64 bytes each
