Isolated pulse input/output board that attaches to the Raspberry Pi GPIO 40Pin connector. The RPi-GP90 is an isolated pulse input/output board that connects to the GPIO 40Pin (I2C) of the Raspberry Pi. This product features input/output ports capable of measuring pulse signals, including frequency and sampling period, in a Raspberry Pi HAT board size (65mm x 56.5mm). By connecting this product to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO (I2C), it is possible to measure not only the aforementioned frequency and period but also pulse width and duty cycle, and it can control servos through the generation of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).

■An isolated pulse input/output board that attaches to the Raspberry Pi GPIO 40-pin connector. It is capable of measuring pulse signals, frequency, and sampling periods. ■Equipped with 16 channels of PWM output and 4 channels of pulse input/output in a HAT board size (65mm x 56.5mm). The PWM output uses 16 channels, 12-bit, NXP PCA9685. ■The connectors for the input/output ports are terminal block type for easy wiring. ■Various functions can be set for each channel, including addition counter, subtraction counter, up-down counter, phase counter, period measurement, pulse width measurement, one-shot output, and square wave output (8 types in total). ■The isolation of this product employs a "digital isolator" that electrically separates the PWM output/pulse input/output side from the GPIO 40-pin, providing advantages of low power consumption (low heat generation) and a smaller implementation area, achieving faster operation than conventional phototransistor methods. ■Sample sources and guides necessary for use in the Raspberry Pi environment are provided.
