Replacing the serial cable that connects serial devices (RS-232C equipment) with wireless communication via Bluetooth.
The "RS-BT62CR" is a cable replacement set that replaces communication between existing serial (RS-232C) devices with wireless communication via Bluetooth. The "RS-BT62CR" is a set model that includes the "RS-BT62" and "RS-BT62M" (each also available for separate purchase). Connect an RS-BT62 to each of the serial devices that will communicate, and wireless communication via Bluetooth will take place between the RS-BT62 units. Once the initial setup is complete, simply turning on the power of both RS-BT62 units will automatically connect them and start Bluetooth communication. All Bluetooth protocols necessary for connection and communication are built into the RS-BT62, so no drivers or additional software are required. ■Bluetooth Version 4.2 compliant with BR/EDR. Supports Class 2. Communication is possible at a distance of approximately 10m. ■Supports serial communication speeds from 1200bps to 230,400bps. Data lengths of 7/8 bits are supported. Flow control is compatible with CTS/RTS control. ■The power supply for this product can be obtained via an AC adapter (included as standard) or through the D-Sub 9 pin. (5V to 12V) *The previous model 'REX-BT60' only supports 5V. ■Additionally, when powered by the AC adapter, it can supply external devices via the D-Sub 9 pin. (5V) ■Unit size is approximately 73.8mm x 35mm x 16mm and weighs about 28g (main unit only), featuring a compact design. Only has a built-in antenna. ■Signals DTR/DSR/CDC/RI are not supported. Serial devices such as modems that use these signals cannot be used. ■Two RS-BT62 units are installed, one on the DTE side and the other on the DCE side. The Bluetooth address of the DCE side RS-BT62 is set and saved on the DTE side RS-BT62. (Pre-configured at shipment) A Windows PC is required for configuration changes.
