basic information

【Examples of 3D Ceramics】 ○ Large Structural Components (Material) → Utilizing the high Young's modulus of high-purity alumina, we have created a special "L" shaped design. Additionally, to balance lightweight and rigidity, a hollow structure has been implemented. The pilot holes for SUS bushes are also formed during manufacturing. ○ Long Beam Materials → As a lightweight, high-rigidity beam material to replace stone, we accept both material sales and high-precision finished products. ○ Near-Net Materials → Relatively small near-net products. We also form U-shaped designs along with grooves and holes. ○ Transfer Molding → By photographing brush calligraphy, we create molds using photographic plate-making technology for shaping and firing. ○ Micro Holes → During molding, numerous φ0.5 through-holes are created at a 0.7 pitch. Compared to machining, this allows for lower costs while achieving the desired shapes. ○ Large Thin Plates → We have commercialized high-purity alumina plates measuring 600mm square and 2mm thick through a process of free firing. Large thin plates are also produced in 3D. This is a product made possible by Lepton. ○ Pseudo Lost Wax → A hollow water channel has been integrally formed inside the alumina plate. This special shaping is made possible by Lepton's unique molding method, "thermal gel molding," eliminating concerns about leaks from bonding. We also accommodate various hollow products.
