The optical sensor part that measures visibility is installed inside a downward-facing hood, which protects the lens from precipitation and dust. Its structure, capable of withstanding harsh weather, allows for stable and reliable measurements over a long period. In areas where there is a risk of snow and ice accumulation in winter, an optional hood heater is effective.
