PVX is a thickness gauge for ultra-thin precision inspection.
The PVX is equipped with an A-scope display function that shows ultrasonic waveforms and a B-scope display function that displays the cross-section of the measured material. By using a pencil-type transducer, it is possible to measure curved areas and edges that could not be measured with a standard thickness gauge. When measuring from the coating surface, it is possible to measure only the actual thickness without removing the coating.
