Energy compensation type scintillation survey meter
TCS-172B is an energy-compensated type scintillation survey meter. It can switch between dose equivalent rate (μSv/h) and counting rate (s^-1 = cps). The dose equivalent rate mode is used for measuring environmental gamma radiation dose equivalent rates, while the counting rate mode can be used for iodine measurements in emergencies.
