The Gyro Station GP1-2A consists of a pendulous gyro unit for true north measurement (freely in two axial directions) and a total station SET3110, which has a built-in program for true north measurement and calculation. By utilizing mechanical properties, true north measurement can be performed at any time, place, or weather, eliminating the need for manual notebooks, stopwatches, calculators, and other tools. The surveyor simply tracks and observes the precession of the gyro and presses a key on the connected keyboard SF10 of the total station. At the end of the measurement, the azimuth is displayed on the upper display and the horizontal angle on the lower display.
