Handheld hardness tester "SONOHARD" rental
Ideal for measuring the hardness of hardened areas in narrow spaces and curved surfaces, such as crankshafts.
basic information
The handheld hardness tester (SONOHARD) is completely different from conventional hardness testing machines. Instead of measuring the size of the indentation made on the material with a microscope, it uses a diamond indenter attached to a vibrating rod, which is pressed against the material surface with a constant load, and measures hardness by applying ultrasonic longitudinal vibrations. ◆Features◆ ◆ Miniaturization of the probe (compared to manufacturers) allows for measurement in narrow spaces. ◆ Durability of over 1 million measurements. ◆ Measurement time is just 2 seconds. ◆ Uses a static pressure load with a Vickers indenter. ◆ Produces an indentation of approximately 0.1 mm. ◆ No influence from the material or mass of the measurement table. ◆ Can measure from all directions: up, down, left, and right. ◆ Static pressure load means no need for regular replacement of the indenter. ◆ Adjustable upper and lower alarm values. ◆◇◆ For more details, please request documentation or download the catalog ◆◇◆
