Positioning System for Work Vessels - Rental
Real-time control of work boats using GPS.
This is a system for guiding work vessels such as sand compaction, sand drains, and CDM (Cement Deep Mixing) for ground improvement work in port and coastal construction to their operational positions. By using two RTK-GPS units, it can correct not only the position but also the twist in real-time, allowing for easy guidance of the vessel to the designated position while checking the computer screen. Compared to traditional guidance methods using total stations, it does not require a clear line of sight and is not affected by weather conditions, thus leveraging the advantages of GPS.
basic information
***Features*** The accuracy of Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS is about 1 centimeter, allowing for guidance of the hull's position and twist in centimeter units. The amount of deviation during positioning is recorded internally on the analysis computer and can be printed as results. Since GPS is used, it is not affected by weather or time constraints. There is no need to deploy personnel at land points. Coordinates: The coordinates used for construction can be either public or local coordinates, and this is reflected in the guidance screen display. Coordinate systems: Coordinate systems 1 to 19 within Japan (compatible with both old and new geodetic systems) and associated local coordinates can be used. Geodetic systems: It is possible to switch between the old geodetic system (Tokyo Datum, Japanese Geodetic System) and the new geodetic system (JGD2000, World Geodetic System). With an automatic GPS setup function, it can be easily configured even by those who are not familiar with GPS. Additionally, it is packed with practical features such as entry direction to the work area, pile arrangement (triangular or rectangular), pile numbering, individual pile coordinate verification, and correction of fixed station coordinates.
