Evaluation of resin chemical resistance: Environmental Stress Crack Resistance Test (ESCR Test) 1/4 Elliptical Method

Evaluation of chemical resistance with various chemicals and solvents is possible!

Our company conducts the "Environmental Stress Cracking Resistance Test (ESCR Test) using the 1/4 Elliptical Method." We attach resin materials to a testing jig shaped like a quarter ellipse and apply bending stress (load) to assess the occurrence of cracks when various chemicals and test solutions are applied, as well as to determine the critical strain (the minimum strain that causes cracks with that solution) from the location of crack occurrence, thereby evaluating the chemical resistance against various organic solvents. Resin products may come into contact with various chemicals and solvents depending on the environment in which they are used, and this serves as an indicator of their durability against the chemicals they encounter, that is, their chemical resistance. 【ESCR】 ■E: Environmental ■S: Stress ■C: Cracking ■R: Resistance *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
