[Case Study] Wireless Broadband Access System / Hakkoda Tunnel
IP-enabled wireless broadband access in the Nagai Tunnel! Enhancing safety and convenience at construction sites.
We would like to introduce a case study of the Railway Construction and Transport Facility Development Support Organization, which has implemented a wireless broadband access system. The organization aimed to improve the safety and voice communication of construction workers in the Tohoku Shinkansen and the Hakkoda Tunnel while reducing costs. To achieve this, they introduced 'BreezeACCESS VL'. This system digitized the long 26.455 km tunnel and enabled secure communication via portable IP phones. 【Case Overview (Partial)】 ■ Implementation Organization: Railway Construction and Transport Facility Development Support Organization ■ Implemented Product: BreezeACCESS VL ■ Implementation Effects - Improved safety within the tunnel - Enhanced signal reception and call quality - Significant cost reduction through the establishment of a wireless network *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
