Machine stoppages during cold glue application are troublesome. By using Robatech's "Sempre Head" and "CleanStart Nozzle Shutter," stress-free cold glue application can be achieved. Cold glue dries (skins) at the nozzle tip of the application head within 1 to 2 minutes. Therefore, it is necessary to seal the nozzle. During interruptions in application, this task is automatically performed by the "CleanStart Nozzle Shutter." At Flatz GmbH, we tested the performance of our nozzle shutter on a folder gluing machine. We will introduce interesting insights gained from this test by Flatz on our website's newsroom.
