Hot Melt Coating Head "Vivo18"
High-quality hot melt coating for e-commerce
The Vivo 18 coating head is a coating head designed for e-commerce envelope bags. It is compact and has high coating accuracy, enabling high-quality hot melt coating application even on high-speed lines. By changing from adhesive tape with release paper to a combination of hot melt application and release paper, significant cost reductions can be achieved. Additionally, switching from peel-off strip tape to hot melt application and peel-off strips can also lead to cost savings. The Vivo 18 coating head is equipped with a sack-back type valve and a high-speed air solenoid valve, making it the most suitable coating head for intermittent hot melt coating applications.

Applications/Examples of results
The coating head Vivo 18 is designed for high-precision hot melt coating at speeds of up to 250 m/min. By closing the discharge element in the negative direction and ensuring that the nozzle is oriented accurately with respect to the substrate, it achieves clean cutouts. The vertical distribution inside the nozzle allows the Vivo 18 to apply a predetermined coating weight uniformly and with high precision from start to finish, achieving accurate and sharp shapes. In the application of adhesive strips, a uniform distribution and integrated control of the application amount to the hot melt applicator can save up to 30% of the adhesive.
