Moldex3D, a complete 3D resin flow analysis software, simulates the behavior inside molds during the plastic molding process on a computer, aiming to proactively identify and prevent various potential issues that may arise during the process. 【Features】 ■ Large-scale and high-speed analysis using the finite volume method for high-precision 3D analysis In traditional finite element methods (FEM), computation time increases geometrically with the number of elements, whereas in the finite volume method (FVM), it increases linearly, making it overwhelmingly advantageous as the number of elements increases. ■ High-precision 3D analysis By accurately solving the Navier-Stokes equations based on non-Newtonian fluids and considering the effects of inertia and gravity, it can handle complex phenomena such as runner balance and jetting. Unsteady cooling analysis and vent analysis are also supported as standard features. ■ High-performance computing capabilities By efficiently utilizing multi-core, multi-CPU, and multi-PC clusters, it achieves high computation speeds.
