We would like to introduce the four-panel manga "Go for it!! Bobin-kun" by Nobuaki Sakai, <Episode 13>. The drawing of fine titanium wire through drawing is done using die drawing, so if there is no coating on the surface of the wire material, the drawing process itself cannot be performed. Our company does not have the equipment or technology to apply a nickel coating to the wire surface, so we adopt a method of applying an oxide coating (black scale) through atmospheric annealing (heat treatment) before the drawing process.
