"I want to create a product that makes it hard to tell if someone is wearing false eyelashes." We took two years to complete this project in line with the client's request! We have a machine that adheres 160 eyelash-like fibers (0.07 mm thick) at 26 mm intervals to a sheet that feels close to human skin, and fixes it to a display resin board with a small amount of adhesive. There is a mechanism that accurately extracts 160 fibers from a hair stocker (four units are equipped). It receives a completion signal from the four extraction machines with a time difference, receives the eyelashes, hands them over to a chuck that measures the quantity, and after counting is complete, sends them to the next section. There is a mechanism that cuts out and adheres two sheets for both eyes to securely fix the eyelashes. The first robot receives the eyelashes sent out, laser cuts them to length, and accurately positions them on a sheet with a very small amount of adhesive applied. After adhering to the second six-axis robot sheet, the excess parts of the sheet are laser cut, and UV irradiation is performed on the adhesive before sending it to the department that curls the eyelashes. The third robot, which adheres the two false eyelashes to a display plastic board, is composed of a conveyor that discharges the final product.
