"WAVEX" is an online wave monitoring system for vessels developed to ensure safe and efficient operation management. Even in environments with poor visibility, such as at night or during rough weather, crew members can monitor the sea surface conditions in real-time and observe changes in wave and weather conditions. By facilitating appropriate decision-making, it can reduce damage to the hull and cargo caused by waves. WAVEX has undergone an evaluation program in the final development stage with 4,000 tests conducted, demonstrating high reliability and measurement accuracy (measurement error of 5% for wave heights of 0 to 30m). The WAVEX system has been certified for functionality and accuracy by the Norwegian Maritime Authority and has received type approval (NO.A-7338) as a radar wave height gauge for use on ships and offshore structures.
