Iridium communication type mid-water float ARVOR-I
ARVOR-I is a medium-depth drifting float with iridium communication developed for the ARGO project, capable of withstanding pressures of up to 2000 meters.
ARVOR-I is a mid-water drifting float with a pressure resistance of 2000m. It comes standard with a Sea Bird CTD sensor, capable of measuring water temperature, salinity, and pressure at any interval. Various data is collected via Iridium communication (SBD). Iridium communication is the mainstream for ocean data transmission due to its bidirectional communication capability, minimal communication delay, and the ease of executing events such as configuration changes or observation cancellations after the float is deployed, all in email format. Various parameters can be easily set via Bluetooth connection, and it has a self-ballasting feature, eliminating the need for buoyancy adjustments. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
