Unit House | [Case Study] Buddhist and Shinto Goods Retailer

Unit House | Sustainable store architecture that adapts to corporate changes! It can create an open and spacious environment.

We will introduce the reasons why the unit house "MOBILE SPACE" was chosen and its implementation effects through a case study. The Shumiyu Shrine and Buddhist Goods Store, which has a history of 130 years rooted in Yamanashi Prefecture and operates three stores within the prefecture, has adopted our product. This construction was carried out as a relocation of the existing store to open a new location in a different area of the prefecture. In this relocation, it was necessary to demolish the existing store. The Shumiyu Shrine and Buddhist Goods Store, having witnessed the demolition of a still usable building and the resulting waste materials, resonated with our product's focus on minimizing waste and environmental consideration, leading to its adoption. [Case Overview] ■ Implementation Location: Shumiyu Shrine and Buddhist Goods Store ■ Location: Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture ■ Product Name: 93MS1 5-Unit Two-Story Building ■ Size: 148.7 m² (44.98 tsubo) ■ Purpose: Shrine and Buddhist Goods Retail Store *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our mission at Sanko Frontier is to contribute to society. This means contributing to a resource-circulating society. The current excessive space creation based on the premise of scrap and build generates a large amount of industrial waste and continues to place a significant burden on the environment. Sanko Frontier's "Mobile Space" is an eco-product that can be moved and reused, overturning conventional wisdom. By further promoting Mobile Spaces in society, we aim to shift space creation to a more moderate approach and contribute to the global environment through a completely new urban design where "buildings circulate." By allowing spaces to move, we aim to move the world toward greater happiness. That is the frontier we aspire to achieve.
