Unit House | [Case Study] Community Facility
Unit House | A simple box structure! An open one-room space that creates a lively community facility in the city.
The reasons why the unit house "MOBILE SPACE" was chosen and its implementation effects will be introduced through a case study. The Rifu Town Community, People, and Work Creation Station, tsumiki, opened in the square in front of the station with the aim of creating vibrancy in the town. Within a year of the project's launch, it was challenging to complete the construction of the facility as well as develop soft projects such as seminars within the timeline, necessitating the consideration of new construction methods for realization. By adopting our product, we were able to complete the construction of the building in less than six months from the specification decision. basic information
【Introduction Effects】 ■ Since it can be loaded onto a truck and relocated as a whole building, it can flexibly respond to future environmental changes. ■ The design incorporates ideas from the townspeople, such as structures inspired by the pear racks, a local specialty of Rifu Town, and open spaces without columns that allow people to see each other. ■ The structure is completed with a robust box frame, allowing for free spatial design without the constraints of columns or load-bearing walls inside the space. ■ The spacious area, which combines a large studio with glass options, has received positive feedback from users. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
