CSTR bioreactor
It is a reactor that reproduces the fermentation process of a plant in the laboratory.
There is a supply port for replenishing raw materials and a discharge port with a ball valve for discharging slurry, allowing for continuous experiments. The stirring device can have its rotation speed and direction set. The pipe connections use a tri-clamp method, making it easy to connect and disconnect. The equipment is made of double-structured (wall-jacketed) glass and stainless steel, available in sizes of 5 liters and 10 liters.
basic information
The CSTR bioreactor connects to the μFlow (standalone gas flow measurement device) and the BioReactor Simulator (multi-channel flow measurement device) to measure low flow rates of biogas. It can be used in both batch and continuous modes, allowing for the simulation of actual plant processes at a laboratory scale. Reactor capacities: 5 liters (glass or stainless steel), 10 liters (stainless steel).
