(This is a product handled by Japan Freeman Co., Ltd. For inquiries, please call 045-473-3580.) This is brown alumina produced by melting and refining bauxite as the main raw material in an electric furnace at temperatures above 2000°C, reducing impurities and adjusting the chemical composition. It is composed of corundum crystals with an Al₂O₃ purity of over 95%, exhibiting high toughness after undergoing processes of crushing, granulation, and iron removal from ingots. With high hardness and toughness, abrasive products made from coated brown alumina are suitable for polishing strong carbon steel and ductile cast iron, among other applications. Additionally, it has a wide range of uses in other refractory materials and precision castings.
