Vacuum Gripper FXP/FMP
Reduction of "section changes," a versatile robotic hand that accommodates a wide range of industries.
The FXP/FMP series universal vacuum grippers are large robotic hands that use sponge or suction pads on the gripping surface. They are very effective for handling workpieces with gaps that are difficult to grip with vacuum pads, workpieces that are not positioned accurately, and for bulk transport of various sizes of workpieces. They are used mounted on industrial robots such as press transfer robots and palletizing robots. The configuration of the vacuum gripper allows for the selection of optimal specifications according to individual applications, including the presence or absence of a vacuum generator, the type of gripping surface, gripper size, and valve type.

[Notice] Large robots introduced in the Yokohama headquarters test room (Vaculab)!
At Schmalz, we have established an adsorption test room (commonly known as "Vaculab") to make more reliable judgments and proposals for adsorption solutions. Until now, we have conducted numerous adsorption test services using actual workpieces, supporting optimal equipment selection and implementation considerations. Similar test rooms have also been set up at our Kansai and Nagoya sales offices, and they have been well received by our customers. This time, we have introduced the large robot "M410iC/500" for the customizable general-purpose hand "SPZ/SSP," which we started offering in April. The "M-410iC/500" is a multi-joint robot widely used in the logistics field. It boasts a payload capacity of 500 kg, making it suitable for transporting heavy items. This allows for operational checks to be conducted in-house at Schmalz for large hands, such as the "SPZ/SSP," for which performance testing before delivery was previously difficult.
