It can be used as a vacuum switching valve to switch vacuum air supplied from external vacuum generators such as vacuum pumps and multi-stage ejectors. In addition to enabling air switching and shortening cycle times through vacuum breaking functionality, there are also types available that allow for condition monitoring of the vacuum circuit.
