Silicon carbide/graphite composite "SiC30"
A composite material that combines the heat shock resistance of "graphite" with the hardness and wear resistance of "silicon carbide"! Achieves high blister resistance.
The product "SiC30" that we handle is manufactured by impregnating molten silicon into highly porous electrical graphite. When used as a hard sliding counterpart material for carbon materials, it significantly improves the blister resistance of the carbon materials. When combined with other products to be used as "soft carbon materials," it can completely prevent blistering. Furthermore, it has superior thermal shock resistance compared to various ceramics used in tribological applications. Additionally, since it contains no boron at all, it is suitable for applications in the production of silicon in the electronics industry. 【Features】 ■ Unique silicon carbide-graphite composite material ■ Excellent hardness, strength, and wear resistance ■ Outstanding emergency operation performance ■ Temperature fluctuation resistance ■ Very high blister resistance 【Applications】 ■ Pumps and compressors ■ Mechanical sealing *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
